What Can I Expect on Sabbath?

When you visit the Coos Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church, you can expect a warm welcome and a meaningful time of worship. Our Sabbath mornings begin with Sabbath School, where small groups explore Scripture in an engaging and thoughtful way for all ages. This is followed by our Worship Service, which includes music, prayer, and a Bible-based message centered on hope and spiritual growth.

Our atmosphere is reverent yet welcoming. Whether you are new to church, returning after some time away, or have attended for years, you are invited to come as you are and participate at your comfort level. We are simply glad you’re here.

What should I wear?

There’s no formal dress code. Some dress up, others come comfortably. We care more about your presence than your outfit.

For Families

We love welcoming families. We offer Sabbath School classes for children of all ages in a safe and engaging environment where they can grow in faith and build friendships. Throughout the year, we also host Vacation Bible School, Bible summer camp opportunities, and family-focused events designed to bring everyone together. Our heart is to support families and create a place where children feel valued, encouraged, and at home.

After the Service

After each Sabbath worship service, we gather for a fellowship meal and time of connection. Our weekly potluck is open to everyone, offering a relaxed space to meet others and build meaningful friendships. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been attending for years, there’s always a seat at the table for you.
